axis9 is led by Brian Hoey, a nationally recognized forensic scientist, laboratory director, and executive leadership advisor with over three decades of experience bridging science, strategy, and systems thinking. Brian brings a rare combination of operational precision and visionary leadership, having guided forensic laboratories through modernization, quality transformation, and complex organizational change.
With certifications in Lean Six Sigma, decades of hands-on leadership in public service, and a deep background in teaching, Brian built axis9 to help organizations lead with intention, improve with purpose, and perform with confidence. His work has influenced local, state, and national policy, and he is a frequent speaker on leadership, quality systems, and organizational behavior.
